Ingredients

  • Chicken breast 1 pound
  • Plain yogurt 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic 3 cloves, minced
  • Cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon

Preparation Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. 2. Add chicken breast to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). 4. Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked. 5. While the chicken is baking, you can prepare desired toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and tzatziki sauce. 6. Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. 7. Serve the sliced chicken in pita bread or wraps with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
