Red Wine Vinaigrette

Ingredients
- extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup
- red wine vinegar 1/2 cup
- shallot 1/2
- garlic 2 cloves
- Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- sugar 1 teaspoon
Preparation Instructions
1. In a jar, combine half a cup of extra virgin olive oil with half a cup of red wine vinegar. 2. Add in half of a chopped shallot, two cloves of finely chopped garlic, two teaspoons of Dijon mustard, salt to taste, pepper to taste, and one teaspoon of sugar. 3. Shake the jar well to mix all the ingredients. 4. Adjust seasoning if needed. 5. Serve the red wine vinaigrette over your favorite salad and enjoy!
