Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 1 lb
- Greek Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced 2 cloves
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Paprika 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Preparation Instructions
Step 1: In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Step 2: Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results. Step 3: Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Drizzle olive oil over chicken thighs. Step 4: Cook the marinated chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Step 5: Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly. Step 6: Serve in pita bread with your favorite toppings like cucumber, tomato, red onion, and tzatziki sauce.
