1. Peel the fruit of your choice. 2. In a small pot, combine sugar and water in a 2:1 ratio. Do both stir. 3. Let the mixture simmer until it becomes a thick syrup. 4. Wait for the syrup to turn into an amber color. 5. Dip the peeled fruit into the hot sugar syrup, ensuring a thin coating. 6. Quickly dip the coated fruit into ice water to cool and harden. 7. Enjoy your homemade Tanghulu!
