- Salmon 1 large piece
- Dill 1 bunch
- Salt 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Black pepper A pinch
Preparation Instructions
1. Trim off the skin and cut into large even chunks. 2. Mix the dill, salt, sugar, and black pepper. Sprinkle the mixture all over the salmon. 3. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and weigh down evenly with weight (like canned beans). 4. Leave in fridge for 1-2 days 5. Rinse off the salt after curing. 6. Thinly slice the cured salmon and enjoy.
