Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 1 cup
- Granulated sugar 1 cup
- Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg 1
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil 1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Boiling water 1/2 cup
Preparation Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 3. Add the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. 4. Stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth. 5. Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 7. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. 8. Frost with your favorite frosting and enjoy!
